London Bridal Week 2018
Congo Blue have provided the full Catwalk solution for White Gallery, a prestigious Bridal trade exhibition that is “the ultimate destination for designer brands, luxury retailers, and the fashion press”, for many years and have developed a very close relationship with the organisers and Production Team. When we were asked to help bring the event to it’s new home at ExCeL London we were delighted to oblige, delivering the high level of finish and service that Congo Blue has become synonymous with.

Seamless Gloss
The catwalk surface needed to compliment the beauty of the dresses on display, and crucially needed to be seamless to avoid any distraction from the designers’ vision. We achieved this superb finish with edgeless gloss laminate laid directly onto the floor and neatly edged to provide the finishing touch. When the black venue carpet was laid the catwalk looked like it was hovering in space; the perfect platform for displaying the elegance of bridal fashion.

Total Blackout
A key feature of the London Bridal Week Catwalk is the stark contrast of light and dark. To achieve this everything Congo Blue considered all aspects of our installation, including sleek black truss and smooth white laminate benches.
In the blackout environment there is nowhere to hide from shadows! Congo Blue prides itself on our attention to lighting detail, meticulously focussing 50 Source 4 Pars over the 22m catwalk to provide every inch with perfect lighting coverage. Our engineers were more than happy to assist photographers fine tune their settings to get the perfect shot; we understand the importance to our clients of capturing every moment and nuance of their shows.
