National Wedding Show

Congo Blue Design were once again asked back to provide the main stage and presentation theatre for the National Wedding shows.

This season we upgraded the specification once again with our 6mm LED video wall, Alpha spot HPE 700s, and brand new out of its box our l’Acoustic Kiva and SB15m subs.

Technical Highlights

  • Sound

    We were very excited to use our new l’Acoustics Kiva on this seasons National Wedding Show. The performance for the size and weight is incredible, and we really look forward to seeing what it can do in the future.

  • Lighting

    This stage was also one of the first outing for our brand new Alpha Spot 700s. They worked brilliantly creating beautiful break up effects across the back wall of the stage, and choreographed moments during the fashion show.

  • Video

    This was the second time we have provided a 6mm video screen for the central screen and supporting wings for the Catwalk Shows. In the past we have relied on projection, but in such a high ambient light environment, the space restrictions, and the lighting dominating the set there was no way that projection could have been bright enough. The screen one again looked beautiful, and allow the audience to see the credits from the very back rows, even when the sun was pouring in the the NEC roof.

  • The Wedding Theatre

    The wedding theatre was a intimate presentation stage that proved very popular with the public. We provided a custom built touring set for the stage with lighting and sound to support the presenters.
