Congo Blue are proud to have delivered full-solution feature Catwalks for Pure London for over 6 years,

and our latest excursion at Pure SS19 saw our involvement expand to three feature areas: The Main Catwalk, Future Catwalk, and Xpress Bar Social Media Feed. This season we rolled out our brand new 2.6mm LED wall to all three areas, with 95 video panels and 3.5million pixels providing stunning ultra-high definition visuals to thousands of visitors and exhibitors.

THE FEATURES

The 22m long Main Catwalk boasted a massive 6m high central video wall and unique three-dimensional entrances of striking 5m tall block-colour panels with beautiful flowers and foliage detailing. An additional outcrop of video panels added intrigue to the design while also serving a very practical purpose of providing a greatly increased screen area for seminar presentations. For this season Congo Blue employed our new high-gloss laminate flooring solution which gave a consistently perfect catwalk surface as well as a more premium feel to the area.

The Xpress Bar was based around an imposing 6m high structure which combined a premium photo shoot backdrop with a video wall displaying a mixture of strong branded visuals and a live twitter feed of #purelondon. The step-and-repeat backdrop and screen were framed with the same beautiful flowers and foliage as featured on the Main Catwalk, neatly tying these two locations together. Simply searching the #purelondon on various social media shows just how effective this feature area was!

NEW 2.6MM VIDEO WALL

Congo Blue’s brand new 2.6mm video wall panels had two major firsts at Pure SS19; this was to be the first time they would be flown and the first time the video wall would interact with scenic elements. In order to prepare for this a great deal of pre-production was undertaken including test-builds of the rigging and scenic solutions and the production of highly detailed CAD models. We take great care to ensure our exciting designs are realised effectively and most importantly safely, as evidenced by our Safe Contractor Accredited status.
